  My family has gone to Cardin's for years. They have always been very kind and knowledgeable. We have had several things altered from existing pieces of jewelry (re-strung pearls, altered ring sizes, etc.) and every time the jewelry looks wonderful. My best experience was when I had a thin, gold bracelet soldered to a silver cuff. The actual cost was hirer than the quote, but they only charged me for the quoted price. Because the bracelet is very delicate and I wore it constantly, it had to be re-soldered in a few places twice. Both times it was free. (Now I only wear it for special occasions.) That being said, I love Cardin’s and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
